Day 1 |
Arrive in San Jose; we will provide transportation to the Hotel Don Carlos, cozy and comfortable for your first night.

Drive to Turrialba and enjoy some stunning views of Costa Rica’s rural countryside. Turrialba is a charming little town in the lush and beautiful Central Valley and Cartago . Famous for being a white water rafting hotspot and base camp, this town lies 53 km east of the capital city, San Jose, and is an excellent place to tour the pre-columbian ruins at Guayabo or the rarely visited but lovely Parque Nacional Volcan Turrialba.
A quiet town, with its charming street corners and gorgeous surrounding scenery is among the few places in Costa Rica with direct access to a volcano’s crater. From the summit of the volcano, on a clear day, you can see the Irazu, Poas and Barva volcanoes in the distance. Among the most rarely visited national parks in Costa Rica, the Turrialba Volcano National Park is home to the active Turrialba Volcano, whose last major eruption occurred in 1866. The volcano itself is only 15 km northwest of town. However, it is safe to climb, and though the facilities at the park are rather meager, it is still a worthwhile trip.

Day 4 |
Visit the rain forest in Sarapiqui, green, lush and beautiful. Stay at the Hotel Selva Verde. Learn about conservation and the habitats belonging to the local flora and fauna.

Day 5 |
Relax at La Fortuna de San Carlos. Take a dip in the natural hot water springs and watch the active volcano at night time .

Day 6 & 7 |
Go white water rafting on the Toro (Bull) river , then carry on to the Caño Negro lodge on the wet lands.
Here you will experience the magic of the Celeste River, crystal blue waters that get their hue from minerals in the river.
These amazing wetlands are located in the northern part of Costa Rica.
Caño Negro is mainly conformed by the Caño Negro Lagoon and the Frio (Cold) River. It has an extension of 9960 Hs., and it is one of the most important biological areas of the country and one of the four most important wetland areas in the world.

Head down to the Savegre cloud forest, a bird lovers sanctuary :
The Savegre Mountain Hotel, also known as Cabinas Chacón, is located in San Gerardo de Dota, a small community in the Talamanca mountains in the midst of a precious ecosystem. Here you will find a deep cloud forest filled with massive oaks and other native species. The woods serve as a sanctuary for a large number of mammals and innumerable species of insects, amphibians, amazing plants and colorful birds: a paradise for bird watchers. |

Back to San José, stay at Hotel Don Carlos once again on your last night. |
Day 11 |
Airport transfer to the International Airport. |

Here, you will enjoy postcard sunsets, white sand and unspoiled hidden corners where you can relax in the warm tropical waters, or maybe, try a few beach sports such as snorkeling or kayaking. Take a boat tour or visit a national park. If you enjoy night life you can choose a location with music, restaurants, and night time activities. |
Day 3 & 4 |
Stay at the north Pacific beaches.

Day 5 & 6 |
Move on to the Central Pacific beaches. This is a very popular and diverse area with forests, national parks, and different weather: tropical humid forest, very beautiful and lush. Lovely hotels with nice ocean views some will have direct access to the beaches. This area has fancy first class hotels and wonderful tropical properties, with great facilities to pamper all your senses...

Day 2 |
After breakfast , your guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the
Inbio Park :
This two-hour tour, in the company of one of the parks guides, begins with an introductory video describing the formation of the Central American isthmus and the importance of the bio diversity that exists today in this region. It is followed by a visit to one of our exhibition halls where we illustrate the concept of bio diversity and its importance, comparing Costa Rica’s bio diversity with that of the rest of the world and explaining INBio’s work and its motto: "Save, know and use"; next, you will visit the geology room. The tour then continues along the trails, though different groupings of plants, trees and vegetation from the Rainforest, the Central Valley and the Dry forest as well as the Wetlands. You will visit four of the wildlife stations (poisonous frogs, tarantulas, bullet ants, butterfly garden, caimans, iguanas, turtles, boas, the aquarium, bromeliads, orchids and heliconias) and the Farm (ten plots or parcels planted with medicinal plants, traditional crops, bees, flowers and foliage, fruit trees, timber trees, grasses and forage crops) the Market Garden, the Sugar Mill and the Livestock Farm). This interesting tour ends with a Sound and Light Show on Costa Rica’s Protected Wildlife Areas, which tells you where some of the most beautiful places in our country are located and describes their characteristics.
After visiting this park, go to El Parque de Diversiones, a great amusement park located in San José. Later, stop for lunch at Pueblo Antiguo, a copy of an old costarrican town, and continue enjoying all the rides at the theme park during the rest of the afternoon!

A two hour drive where you'll enjoy incredible sceneries along the way. Here we suggest the Hotel Los Lagos with its great water slides and hot water springs.This hotel is great for families!
