Day 1 |
Arrive at the San Jose International Airport where we will meet and escort you to your hotel.

After breakfast, car rental Suzuki Jimny 4x4 or similar will be delivered to you at the hotel. Drive towards San Gerardo de Dota and to the Savegre cloud forest, a bird lovers sanctuary. The Savegre Mountain Hotel located in a small community of the Talamanca mountains in the midst of a precious ecosystem. Here you will find a deep cloud forest filled with massive oaks and other native species. The woods serve as a sanctuary for a large number of mammals and innumerable species of insects, amphibians, amazing plants and colorful birds such as the Quetzal. Definitely a paradise for bird watchers. |
Day 3 |
Early morning you will explore the cloud forest on a guided tour to search the resplendent Quetzal at hotel’s private reserve. Free afternoon to explore the natural surroundings.Overnight at Savegre Hotel. |

Day 4 |
Drive from Savegre Moutains to Turrialba Valley. Turrialba is a charming little town in the lush and beautiful Central Valley and Cartago . Famous for being a white water rafting hotspot and base camp, this town lies 53 km east of the capital city, San Jose, and is an excellent place to tour the pre-columbian ruins at Guayabo or the rarely visited but lovely ParqueNacionalVolcanTurrialba. |
Day 5 |
This morning you will have a guided tour to the Guayabo National Monument. This is the largest archaeological site yet found in Costa Rica. Largely unexplored, the area contains ancient trails, bridges, water tanks and homesites, as well as petroglyphs estimated to be about 3,000 years old. A stroll through the Guayabo area reveals raised stone foundations, and stone paved roads of unknown length leading off into the surrounding dense foliage. |

Day 6 |
Visit the rain forest in Sarapiqui, green, lush and beautiful. Stay at the Hotel Selva Verde. Learn about conservation and the habitats belonging to the local flora and fauna.

Day 7 |
Start the day paddling in the pristine waters of the Sarapiqui River enjoying the great adventure of the river rating tour. This river is known as the scenic river of Costa Rica's tropical rain forest. After tour drive to Arenal Volcano area.A two hour drive where you'll enjoy incredible sceneries along the way. Here we suggest the Arenal Volcano Inn with its great volcano view and pool. |

Day 8 |
For your days at leisure you can explore the area on your own or take any optional activity at extra cost like sky tram and sky trek a great combination of adventure and amazing experience! Safari Peñas Blanca floating trip an interesting soft adventure paddle tour exploring the wildlife or just relaxes at the natural volcanic hot springs. |
Day 9 |
Breakfast included. Before leaving to San Jose you will enjoy a waterfall multi-sport adventure tour, which consists of rappelling and hiking in this spectacular rain forest “slot” canyon located in La Fortuna under the famous Arenal Volcano. Enjoy a traditional lunch. After the great adventure and nature exploration drive back to San Jose to Don Carlos Hotel for overnight. |

Day 2 |
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel for the full day visit to Doka Estate Coffee Plantation, Poás Volcano National Park & La Paz Waterfall Gardens: The tour starts with a guided visit to Doka Estate Coffee Plantation. Your guide will provide detailed information and explanation about the coffee process. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and educate about coffee production as well as processing of coffee. After this introductory activity to the coffee world, journey continues to Poás Volcano National Park, the second largest volcano in the world. If weather condition permits, you will have the chance to see the second largest crater of the world and its impressive scenery. Also on the way to the volcano you will find unique and amazing forest. Continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens where a delicious traditional buffet lunch will be served. Here in the park you can visit the butterfly garden, humming bird garden, La Casita de La Paz a historical farmhouse reproduction and hike on the nature trails to admire three beautiful waterfalls. After a full day full of activities and interesting nature visits, you will be transferred back to the hotel for resting.
Car rental will be delivered to you at the hotel to continue to the area of La Fortuna where the Volcano Arenal is located. A two hour drive where you'll enjoy incredible sceneries along the way. Here we suggest the Arenal Volcano Inn with its great volcano view and pool. This hotel is great for families!
